April Edition

Welcome to the SOW Monthly: April Edition!

In this month's edition, we have a quick thank-you from the Director, highlights from our recent Alumni event, tips on how to partner with us, as well as a brand new partner announcement!

Director's Thanks

Dearest Alumni,

Despite the many and varied challenges of ministry coming out of the Covid19 lockdown season, God in His timing has been faithful, as He always is. Young leaders are growing, more students are being reached, and lives are still being transformed by the life-giving power of the gospel of Jesus.

At the same time, two years of being in and out of lockdown is taking its toll, with the topic of ministry burnout being one that we’re working through together with many of the students serving on campus. This is a critical prayer request for you, our alumni, to ask God to keep and protect these growing servants.

Not only through your prayers, but thanks also to your generous financial support and advocacy, we’ve been able to improve the quality of pastoral support and training we’re able to provide our students. Please continue to partner with us as God leads us into a new season of ministry on campus!

In Christ,
Sijin

Alumni (Re)Launch: Highlights

A massive thank you to all who made it out to the Alumni Re(Launch)! It was such an encouragement to see a diverse range of alumni present: different generations, different campuses, different industries.

We hope that it was just as encouraging for you who came out to hear from some of our current campus leaders and staff as they shared about their experiences, as well as hearing about where God might take SOW in the next handful of years!

If you weren’t able to make, no worries! There are more events to come; see you at the next one!

Spotlight: Partnership with Cornerstone Presbyterian Church

We’re excited to announce our newest official local church partner: Cornerstone Presbyterian Church! We’re now officially partnered with four local churches across Sydney, and God-willing we’ll only continue to better serve more local churches.

You can find a full list of our partners and associations here.
